The Veranda -Family Circle Tennis Center's small-stage venue under the stars...The Indigo Girls, an American folk rock duo, consist of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. These true folk icons have cultivated legions of faithful fans since releasing their debut album Strange Fire in 1987, winning a Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Folk Recording” in 1990, and notching multi-platinum records throughout their career. Constant touring, as well as an unwavering commitment to social, political, and environmental issues has cemented the Girls’ bond with their audience.

The Indigo Girls are currently touring in support of their tenth studio album, Poseidon and the Bitter Bug, which has garnered critical acclaim from true fans and music critics alike for mixing introspective singer-songwriter sensibilities with a commitment to genuine folk rock. The songwriting takes center stage on Poseidon and the Bitter Bug, while the Girls continue to grow and challenge themselves creatively by adding elements of R&B to their classic mixture of folk and Americana.

“The Indigo Girls are one of the top folk rock bands in America,” commented Carter McMillan, Concert Manager at the Family Circle Tennis Center. “They put on a great outdoor performance, and The Veranda was the perfect venue for a fall concert under the stars.”
