Volunteers play a major role in the success of the Cup.
More than 350 volunteers & 175 Ball Crew are needed each year.
Overview
Download the 2010 Volunteer Application, or pick one up at the Family Circle Tennis Center.
*Ball Crew - due to school schedules during the Cup, we need more Adult Ball Crew members in 2010.
**A typical day is broken down into 4-5 hour shifts (two shifts during regular match days & three shifts on days with night matches).
You must work at least 6 shifts throughout the tournament. Starting times and shift schedules vary with each department.

2010 Benefit Package
Additional benefits are available to those who work 8 or more shifts. Returning Volunteers are given preference on job assignments until January. Within a few weeks of submitting your application you will receive a confirmation letter notifying you which area you have been assigned to work. You will also receive information about uniform pick up and training in March. Please share this information with friends or family members who might like to volunteer with you.
Important instructions:
Shifts
• Make sure you have checked at least TWO more time frames than you are actually requesting to work. If you are requesting 6 shifts, you need to mark at least 8 shifts for which you will be available. This will allow Department Chairs the flexibility needed to give everyone the number of shifts requested, thereby qualifying you for the benefit level you have selected.
When selecting your area and desired number of shifts, please note:
• Ushers, Court Maintenance & Scoreboard Volunteers are not  scheduled April 10th & 11th.
• Transportation offers a wider variety of shifts than other departments. Beginning April 9th, shifts run until 11pm, and a dinner swing shift is offered (4-9pm) to cover the busy dinner hours. Please complete this additional application for this department.
