For nearly thirty years, Frankie Beverly and Maze have created a unique sound and become one of the most influential groups in modern history possessing a groove that is colorful, distinctive, passionate, creative, original, soulful, honest and powerful.  In early 2007, Maze set out on tour in support of their 20 track double-CD, Anthology, chock full of their most popular successful songs.

The evening began with a pair of special guests (DL Scott & Walt Smooth) who got the crowd of 3,953 in a dancing mood before the house lights dimmed and the crowd was on its feet waiting for the man of the evening.  With a new-found energy and electrifying on-stage presence, headliner Frankie Beverly brought his unique brand of funk to Daniel Island as Family Circle Magazine Stadium came alive with the R&B sounds of the MOJA Festival finale on Saturday, October 6th.
