The 2007 Win4Life season continued on March 17th at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and the College of Charleston Tennis Complex at Patriot’s Point. Win4Life students began the day at MUSC with a special exercise and fitness presentation then went through MUSC’s famed Boot Camp exercise regiment featuring various exercises and activities designed to test the children’s fitness levels. At noon, the kids boarded a bus headed to Patriot’s Point where they were greeted by Monty Shealy, Managing Director - Prudential Financial, who congratulated the children for their accomplishments in this year’s Win4Life program, and gave them words of encouragement for the future. Lunch was served before the Win4Life students enjoyed a Q&A session with the C of C’s Women’s Tennis Team where the kids had the opportunity to ask questions about life, tennis, and other subjects relative to their success in the program. They concluded the afternoon playing tennis with the College of Charleston Women’s Tennis Coach, Angelo Anastapoulo, and his team. After the tennis action wrapped up, Coach Anastapoulo raffled off some free prizes for the kids in attendance.
