Super Stats: Won her second career singles title last year in Sydney, Australia. On the way to the final, she upset Martina Hingis and Lindsay Davenport, becoming one of four players to defeat both players at one tournament. Also reached the finals of two other Sanex WTA Tour events. Hit another career milestone in 2000 by joining the Million Dollar club in career earnings. In 1999 reached her first Grand Slam final at the Australian Open.

Personal: Decided to play tennis before the age of 4 after watching Yannick Noah win the French Open. Favorite band is Bon Jovi. Enjoys activities like downhill skiing, go-carts and horseback riding. After tennis she would like to open a sports café in Paris.
