What happens when you combine world-class tennis with upscale boutique shopping? The result is Match Point Market, a new shopping area located within the Family Circle Cup site. Every year the Family Circle Cup provides fans with the most up to date tennis equipment, shoe apparel and tennis clothing. This year the tournament is debuting a new shopping area geared toward products that are not tennis related. Match Point Market will feature 11 vendors in a tented open-air market that will offer a variety of upscale boutiques for patrons to shop during and between matches.
"This new and innovative concept gives us the ability to offer tennis fans the option to shop for quality items other than tennis related merchandise," stated Frankie Whelan, Executive Director of the Family Circle Cup. "Every year we try to add to the overall experience for each fan Match Point Market will be a great addition to the many non-tennis activities that spectators can participate in throughout the site."
