2015 General Tournament Policies and Information
Rain Policy: If a session of the tournament is postponed due to weather or for other reasons beyond our control, the tournament committee will make every effort to accommodate the ticket holder at a subsequent session based upon availability. However, there will be no refunds, rain checks or exchanges issued. A session will be considered complete if one match in that session is completed.
Please note: You must retain your original ticket stub in the case of a postponement in order to re-enter the postponed session. Information on scheduling changes can be obtained by calling the tournament hotline, (843) 849-5000, or visiting our website.
ATM Machines: ATM Machines are located in the merchandise tent, food court, and on the Northwest and Northeast stairwells of the stadium and Racquet Club Bar.
Backpacks/Bags: Backpacks are not allowed. Bags and purses are allowed, but are restricted in size to fitting on the lap or under the seat occupied. All bags inclusive of staff, media, officials, volunteers and sponsors' will be searched.
Food & Beverage: We have a variety of choices for your dining pleasure; with the exception of one bottle of water per person no food or beverage will be admitted into the event.
Glass: NO GLASS bottles or containers are allowed to be brought onto the property.
Alcohol: No alcohol may be brought onto the property.
Weapons: No weapons may be brought onto the property.
Illegal Substance(s):No illegal substance(s) may be brought onto the property.
Disposal of Prohibited Items: Prohibited items that are discovered during inspections must either be returned to their owner’s vehicle/transportation or discarded. The Family Circle Tennis Center will not provide a storage area for these items. Guests arriving by public transportation must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items as no exceptions will be made.
Bikes: Bike racks are located near the front gate at the entrance to the stadium. The tournament is not responsible for damage or theft.
Cameras:No flash photography is allowed. Cameras are prohibited for any purpose other than using photographs for personal and private domestic use. Such photographs cannot be exploited or displayed in any manner or in any medium whatsoever without the express written consent of the WTA.
Laptops & Tablet Computers:Use of laptops and tablets is prohibited within the confines of the Stadium Court and any match courts.
Camcorders: Camcorders are allowed as long as the equipment is not a hindrance to surrounding spectators. Film may not be reproduced. Camcorders and cameras are prohibited for any purpose other than recording of footage or photographs for personal and private domestic use only. Such footage or photographs cannot be exploited or displayed in any manner or in any medium whatsoever without the express written consent of the WTA.
Cell Phones/Pagers: Cellular phones ARE NOT allowed to be used near matches in progress. Please turn off all cell phones and pagers when entering courts and the stadium to watch matches.
Purchasing Tickets: Call our box office at (800) 677-2293 or purchase via Ticketmaster, www.ticketmaster.com, or Ticketmaster Charge-by-Phone at (800) 745-3000 or at any Ticketmaster outlet in local Publix grocery stores. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash. Checks will be accepted until one week prior to the event. If tickets are purchased through our box office, you will receive your tickets the week of February 23, 2015.
Children two years of age and younger do not require a ticket to enter the facility as long as they can sit on your lap. Children 12 and under are admitted free during qualifying rounds with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Refunds/Exchanges: There are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.
Ticket Discounts: We do offer ticket discounts and special promotions. Discounts are only available through our box office, they are not offered online. For ticket discount information, please call our box office: (800) 677-2293.
Lost or Stolen Tickets: Tickets can be replaced but only by the original ticket holder. A fee of $10 will be charged for replacement of lost or stolen tickets.
Same Day Re-Entry: Patrons who would like to leave and return will need to have their hand stamped upon departure and present their ticket and stamped hand when they re-enter.
Handicapped Patrons: There are two seating options for handicapped patrons. Seating is available on the concourse behind our box seating as well on the concourse behind the terrace level seats. Terrace level concourse seating is accessible via the elevator on the southwest side of the Stadium. Please contact us at (800)-677-2293 for ticket prices for each level and additional information.
Access ramps are located on both the east and west sides of the stadium. Handicap parking is available by presenting your state issued license plate or hangtag to parking attendants when you arrive on Daniel Island. Parking attendants will direct you.
Box Seats: All box seats for the Family Circle Cup are sold out. If you would like to add your name to the box seat waiting list, please call (800) 677-2293.
Inclement Weather Precaution: On occasion, threatening weather may force us to clear the Grandstand seating in the stadium. We ask for your prompt cooperation should you hear an announcement pertaining to threaten weather.
Match Schedule: Please keep in mind that match times are subject to change due to weather, television coverage or other delays. Our match schedule is posted in the Order of Play tab the evening before a day session.
Parking: Parking is available in several locations on Daniel Island, most within walking distance. Free shuttle service to the main stadium entrance will be provided to those parking only in the satellite lots.
Golf Cart Parking: Golf carts are allowed but are subject to all parking regulations and parking passes. The tournament is not responsible for damage or theft.
Lost and Found: Lost and Found is located at guest services inside the front gate. The Family Circle Tennis Center, its owner and the owner’s affiliates, agents and employees are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Lost Children: Please bring lost children to the guest services tent inside the front gate. If you are looking for a lost child, please go to the guest services tent inside the front gate and you will be assisted.
Pets: Pets are not allowed, with the exception for service animals.
First Aid: First Aid is available between the stadium and court # 3.
Smoking: The Family Circle Tennis Center is a non-smoking facility.
Umbrellas: Umbrellas may be used on the grounds, but not within the stadium or any match court where it can be a hindrance to other spectators.
Movement During Matches: Stadium Box Seats - Spectator movement is restricted to breaks in play only (i.e. change over, set break and between matches. Terrace Level and Grandstand - As a courtesy to the players, spectators are asked to remain in their seats during play, but may walk around the concourse. It is requested that spectators be courteous to those around them when moving and the tournament does reserve the right to ask spectators to stay seated when necessary.
